Rustbelt needed someone to own the entire media presence, not just post content. Built and ran the content calendar, managed community engagement, and handled advertising and PR — coordinating campaigns and local partnerships that reinforced Rustbelt as a neighborhood fixture, not just a coffee shop with an Instagram. The focus throughout: make Rustbelt feel like part of the community's everyday life — built around the people behind the counter, the regulars, and the moments that made the shop distinctly its own.
Results:
Instagram grew from ~4,960 to 5,980 followers — 21% growth, +1,020 net followers, over three and a half years
Three flagship campaigns during this period (Fall Flavor Personas, Cowboy Summer, Back to School) pulled over 30K views and 2,250+ likes combined
